Father God,
You see all things and hear even the words spoken quietly under the breath of my husband. Nothing is hidden from You. Lord, when frustration, complaining, or a wrong attitude rises up in our home, I ask that You gently convict and correct it through Your Holy Spirit.
Jesus, soften his heart and bring peace, patience, humility, and understanding into his spirit. Help him do things without anger, resentment, or bitterness, but with love and a willing heart. Teach all of us to serve one another with grace and kindness.
Your Word says, “Do all things without complaining and disputing” (Philippians 2:14).
And, “Let all bitterness and wrath and anger… be put away from you” (Ephesians 4:31).
Lord, let the fruit of the Spirit grow in him — “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control” (Galatians 5:22–23).
Bring calmness into our home, and help us all reflect Your character more each day.
