Father in Heaven,

As I pray today
in the name of Jesus Christ✝️
👍🏾our⚖️ Only ✝️ Way
may You✝️ continue
to teach 👍🏾us⚖️
The meaning of the word Love✝️

As You✝️ know it’s
Not convenient.
Not sentimental
though it works the mental
Tests 👍🏾our⚖️ faith
when truth goes against
saying the right thing
Yet as You also know
You✝️ know what to do
when somebody hurts.

This Love as Your✝️ Love.
Is Love✝️ that spiritually enters.

Listens.

Learns.

Shines.

“Glows”

Yet goes against 👍🏾our⚖️ emotions.
Heard by 👍🏾us⚖️ as,
“Running counter to 👍🏾our⚖️ feelings”
a place in 👍🏾our⚖️ heart unfamiliar
where the real work
Of healing takes place
A place where 👍🏾we⚖️ meet
to think of reasons
👍🏾we⚖️ desire
👍🏾our⚖️ Lord✝️ versus this world’s system
A place where the flesh is dealt with
according to Scripture
so ultimately Love✝️
as You✝️ know it
can find its agreement point.

Lord✝️ teach us about this place
As You✝️ see 👍🏾us⚖️
to prepare ourself
to meet where 👍🏾 we⚖️ are—
without forgetting
Who You✝️ are
Because if ⚖️we👍🏾
love like Jesus,
then Jesus
can shine through us.

With this prayer Lord✝️,
as you show 👍🏾us⚖️ who we are,
To share who 👍🏾we⚖️ are
And teach 👍🏾us⚖️
who we are supposed to be.

In Jesus Christ✝️ name
I pray and give thanks.
