Foundational Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:2–5

God✝️ in heaven,

With sincerity⚖️ I pray this day

With patience of heart and mind
A demeanor that remains kind
Despite the times

Understanding as well
That service requires honor.
And with this in mind Lord✝️
I acknowledge you as the righteous judge
In a case that needs your attention
A case where only your Word✝️
and mention of your name
eases the tension

This is the sincere trust
I have in You✝️
That You✝️ hear me when I pray
So, You✝️ here me also when I say
the ✝️ Author of every true letter
already knows my condition
You know my disposition in Your kingdom
and what has been written upon the heart.

So as You✝️ have written it
May it be read at the appointed time
as something that’s meant to help
Instead of hurt
Heal instead of wound
Inform as we conform to the image
Of Jesus Christ✝️ Your✝️ only Son.

May this also be the understanding
that this is first a prayer
To You✝️ before anyone ⚖️ else
and this attempt to hear from you is crucial
Because….
Someone ⚖️ is missing a blessing
And I’m making every attempt to
Be here for ⚖️them⛪️ so I
Pray this day
That the still small voice
Allows for your will to be done
In a way that pleases You✝️
and eases someone’s heart
Or their mind may be wondering…
(Yes I’m still here)
So I pray that her⚖️ heart not be troubled
Nor be afraid, instead
May she ⚖️ ever keep in mind
that a foundation has been laid.
A form of doctrine that taught us
And brought us through
as we have trusted You✝️
as You✝️ are
So may we ✝️ be also
As we keep your commandments
Sincerely.
