✝️ Simple Grace ✝️

A Spoken-Word Prayer
(Ephesians 5 • James 1:19)

God✝️ in Heaven,

Today I come before You✝️
in the matchless name of Jesus Christ✝️
with a sincere prayer
still for 👍🏾us🕊️.

In way that’s
Not heavy.
Not complicated.
Just wholesome.

Lord, before I do anything significant,
it’s important that I acknowledge You✝️ first.
So before thoughts move too far ahead,
I send this prayer to You✝️.

Today, I managed to “see” her🕊️
and talk to her briefly.
Things had to stay business,
because this is new territory
and wisdom is still needed.

But Father…
I’m glad I got to see her.

And honestly,
I think she’s been turning “red” lately—
because as I addressed 🕊️ today she
showed it a little.
So I made sure to stay respectful,
careful not to interrupt her,
and simple in what I said.

All I really expressed
was that I wanted
“to know more about”
her ministry.

Then I left it there.

Not overdoing it.
Certainly not rushing!
Just enough honesty
for something wholesome to exist.

Because I understand, Lord,
that rushing isn’t good…
but neither is ignoring
what You✝️ may be allowing to grow.

So today I pray
that 👍🏾our🕊️ conversations continue
in a way that is wholesome,
Christ✝️-centered,
real,
and simple.

Let Your✝️ grace meet 👍🏾us🕊️
at 👍🏾our🕊️ point of need.

Because I know talking
at times takes baby steps.
And honestly Father,
I’m alright with that.

So give 👍🏾us🕊️ patience.
Give 👍🏾us🕊️ wisdom.
Help 👍🏾us🕊️ move forward rightly
even from something brief like today.

And as this situation slowly takes form,
help me “to know more about” 🕊️
through wisdom, peace,
and Your✝️ guidance.

Let what is wholesome remain wholesome.
Let what is good remain good.
And let what begins simply
grow correctly in You✝️.
