I am the primary caregiver for my 91 year old father. He made sure all of our family needs were met and some of our wants. He taught his son and daughters how to fish, crochet/knit, use tools, identify backyard birds and to cook. Now I’m caring for him. Over the past three years, his needs have increased – taking him to doctor’ s appointments, cooking/cleaning, picking up medications, etc. Most days are pleasant and easy going, but some days are difficult. As I pray for my father and for myself, I ask you to pray for me to have continued patience, understanding and joy as I care for my father. Thank you.
