My daughter is a senior in college and she is in the midst of student teaching. She has a very challenging class so classroom management has been a hurdle for her. She has been a substitute teacher for a few years and has a few semesters in the classroom prior to this. She has always received glowing reports. Her new university supervisor is coming down on her hard and has shaken A to the core. She has lost faith in her ability to teach bc of the unkind words spoken to her. She has not been given one positive comment. Please pray for guidance and direction. She has a passion for teaching and we need teachers. Pray that she gets strong mentorship and support to help her overcome what the deficits this professor is seeing. The professor is not from the university so her philosophy is not in tune to what my daughter has been taught. My daughter needs strength to keep going, humbleness to accept critique and her dream of teaching to be kept alive. I pray she improves daily and gets her confidence back.
