Please keep my family in your prayers this holiday season.
My adult kids are now living on their own, and their dad and I divorced after they left the house. This will be our first holiday where everyone is in a different place, and I'm still figuring out how to make it feel special for them.
Both of my kids are wonderful people. I raised them in the church and they love the Lord. I know all they really want is a peaceful, happy Christmas — it's not about the gifts. But I think they're both still hurting from the changes in our family, and it's been hard to figure out how to create something meaningful despite the circumstances.
Please pray that we can still come together and share a special time — one that reminds them that even though things look different now, the love hasn't changed. 🙏
