PRAYER FOR DISCERNMENT IN A WORLD OF INFLUENCE

Father, we come before You as a praying family, asking for Your wisdom in a world filled with noise, pressure, and influence.
You see every decision made in secret and every word spoken in public.
You know the motives of every heart, and nothing is hidden from Your sight.

Lord, when powerful voices try to shape what people believe,
give us discernment to recognize truth from persuasion.
When money speaks louder than honesty,
give us clarity to see what is right and what is righteous.
When influence is used to sway, confuse, or mislead,
give us courage to stand on Your Word and not be moved.

Your Word says,
“A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.”
— Proverbs 11:1 (KJV)

So we ask You, Lord:
Make the scales honest.
Make the truth clear.
Make the motives pure.
Expose anything that harms Your people,
and strengthen anything that brings justice, fairness, and peace.

Protect our homes, our families, and our communities.
Guard our minds from fear and our hearts from anger.
Let Your peace settle over us like a covering,
and let Your light guide us through every confusing or troubling situation.

Bless every person in this group with wisdom,
with calm,
with courage,
and with the assurance that You are still in control,
no matter what people or systems may try to influence.

We trust You, Lord.
We rest in You.
We look to You for truth.
