Prayer for a teen that I’m mentoring and his family.

The teen has been sent by his mom to live with his grandma which is a great thing because it’s a safe environment that’s bring him peace and he can escape the verbal & physical abuse that happens at home. God is definitely moving in his life and in the situation. He needs grandma at this stage in his life. I pray that God moves in his situation that he’s able to live permanently with the grandma. Pray that the abuse in his home gets exposed and brought to the light. Pray that legal actions are taken. Pray that mom forcefully get the help she needs b/c she is not going to seek it on her own and her son is her punching bag/outlet for her pain and anger.

Most importantly I pray that the teen and his grandma are bold enough to call out and report the mom’s behavior no matter the relation and love they may have for her… This situation cannot continue to be swept under the rug. It needs to be brought to light because the only person actually suffering is the teen.

Prayer that God euips me with all that I need to do what he has called me to do in this situation. Prayer that I’m able to continue to meet with the teen and work with his grandma.

GOD WE NEED YOU TO DO WHAT ONLY YOU CAN DO! PROTECT & FIGHT FOR YOUR CHILD B/C HE IS SUFFERING!
