Prayer for Healing and Medication
Lord God, You are an amazing God. I love You, and I seek to honor You with my life. Your Word says, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5–6).
Father, I come before You today about this prescription the doctor gave me for my mood swings. Lord, I plead the blood of Jesus over these pills, sertraline. I ask that You would bless this medication and let it work exactly the way it is supposed to work. Let it bring help, peace, balance, and improvement to my mind and emotions.
Your Word says, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights” (James 1:17). So Lord, I ask that this medication would be used as a tool for good in my life.
Father, I pray that I will have no harmful side effects. Let it not cause pain in any area of my body. Cover me, protect me, and let this prescription settle well with me. Your Word says, “No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). I declare that no negative reaction, no fear, and no attack against my mind or body will prosper in Jesus’ name.
Lord, I pray for healing and restoration. Your Word says, “But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds, declares the Lord” (Jeremiah 30:17). I ask You to let me feel more like myself again—steady, peaceful, clear-minded, and strong.
Fill me with Your peace, because Your Word says, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3). Let Your peace guard my heart and mind each day.
Lord, I thank You in advance for success with this prescription. I thank You for improvement. I thank You for healing. I receive Your help, Your covering, and Your peace over my mind and body.
