Heavenly Father, my name is Tammy and God I need a space just for me and you so I can talk to you in private make me a tent
I come to You honestly, just as I am. You see my heart, You know my desire to be close to You, and You understand how hard it has been for me to find a quiet place to pray.
Your Word says, “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen.” — Matthew 6:6
Lord, I long for that kind of space—a place where it’s just You and me, uninterrupted, peaceful, and full of Your presence.
God, You are the One who made room for Your people in the wilderness, meeting them in quiet places. Your Word says, “The Lord would speak to Moses face to face… as one speaks to a friend.” — Exodus 33:11
Father, I ask You to create that kind of space for me. Make a way where there seems to be none. Shift things in my home so I can have a quiet, peaceful area set apart just for You.
Lord, even in the details—move hearts, adjust routines, and bring order. I ask that my husband and family become sensitive to my need for time with You. Let there be moments where the house quiets down, where interruptions fade, and where I can step away and meet You deeply.
Your Word says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Help me find that stillness, Lord. Whether it’s a room, a corner, or even a small “tent” space set apart—let it be filled with Your peace, Your presence, and Your voice.
Jesus, You often withdrew to lonely places to pray (Luke 5:16), and I ask for the grace to do the same.
Father, I trust You to make room for me—not just physically, but spiritually. Create a sacred space where I can rest, speak, cry, listen, and be renewed by You.
Thank You for hearing me. Thank You for caring about even this. I believe You will do it.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
