Pray for John
Heavenly Father,
I come before You in the name of Jesus. Lord, You see my husband. You know his heart, his thoughts, and the weight he may be carrying. Nothing is hidden from You. I ask that Your Holy Spirit gently and powerfully lift him out of depression. Break every heaviness, every cloud of sadness, every silent struggle that tries to hold him down.
Father, Your Word says in Isaiah 61:3 that You give beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness. I declare that over him today. Replace heaviness with joy. Replace isolation with connection. Replace withdrawal with love.
Lord, whatever is keeping him confined to the bedroom — whether it is stress, discouragement, fear, shame, or exhaustion — I ask You to lovingly deal with it at the root. Heal what needs healing. Restore what needs restoring. Renew his strength like the eagle’s as You promise in Isaiah 40:31.
Draw him back into fellowship, into laughter, into companionship with his wife. Rekindle affection, friendship, and unity in this marriage. Remove distance and build closeness. Let Your peace fill our home.
Father, guard my heart too. Help me respond with patience, wisdom, and love. Let Your Spirit lead both of us into deeper unity and understanding.
