Please pray that I can find a good friend who wants to do things with me, who I can talk honestly with, who will care about me. Someone who will actually call me! I'm a 69 year old woman. I have had good friends in the past, but over the years our lives go in different directions and they drift away until only I ever reach out. Now we are no longer in touch. I think I try to reach out to people. Other people tell me what a good person I am and how much I am the hands and feet of Jesus. But, nobody cares to really be a friend. Yes, I belong to a church community and am active in it. But they are friendly social acquaintances. I am an introvert, and I can very happily be on my own. But it would be nice to have someone (other than my husband of 47 years) to do things with.
