✝️ 🕊️Simplifying The Life of the Church🕊️✝️

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…

in this complex world
We need you to teach 👍🏾us🕊️
how to live,
How to lead,
and a great understanding on
What it means for us to serve
without losing what is right
Yet simplistic in You.

Your Word in Ephesians 5
tells us to walk circumspectly,
not as fools,
but as wise,
redeeming the time,
understanding what the will of the Lord is.
So Lord, here 👍🏾we🕊️ are
Humble
here 👍🏾we🕊️ are
Yielded
here 👍🏾we🕊️ are
Ready for you to speak
In a world where
life gets layered,
In deception,
Complexity,
and responsibilities multiply,
We ask Lord for Simplicity
To help us respond with wisdom.

Teach us to move
from control to navigation,
from reaction to righteous response,
Despite instigation of
The seemingly Godly situation
Despite panic from perceptions
Give us discernment
And at the point of discord
May we remember what our intent
Purpose and Goal meant at the point of decision
Between what is righteous versus what is ungodly
Because what happens around us
often affects what happens within us.

So let what is inside 👍🏾us🕊️
remain governed by You✝️—🕊️
Keep 👍🏾us🕊️ rooted in doctrine,
in remembrance of Your✝️ Godly judgment,
And sound in character.

You✝️ said in Ephesians 4
That we are one body,
one Spirit,
one Lord,
one faith.
So help us remember
that how we interact matters.
That unity matters.
Since 👍🏾we🕊️ are the church
And leadership matters daily
and every part of the body supplies
something necessary
As you Will it
Since you are sovereign
It’s only right to Look to Jesus Christ✝️
For problem solving
And the comfort of Your✝️ Holy 🕊️spirit
That’s paramount!
It’s critical in this dispensation of time

In Romans 12 You reminds us
to be transformed
by the renewing of our minds.
So renew us as we face complexity.
Renew our minds for leadership.
Renew our minds for church life.
Renew our minds despite facing strife.
Give us eyes to see issues early,
wisdom to reassess often,
and grace to adapt as needed.
Yet nevertheless give us the daily
wisdom needed to avoid disaster
and preserve the course of victory
As I remember the ongoing need
For excellence of ministry
Like what we ⛪️ say?!
Daily!

However, help us lead without pride,
build momentum without confusion,
yet live with nothing to hide,
and strengthen others without controlling them.
I understand! 👍🏾
Yet it’s prayers like this that have its reasons
To be read and received as part of plan
Needed to keep us
going!
Growing!
While ever knowing you are with us
Once more to keep us!

Father✝️, teach us how to manage reality
without fear,
how to handle change
without losing formation,
and how to expand our perspective
without leaving Your will behind.

Because the world may be complex,
but Your Word is clear.

So keep 👍🏾us🕊️ wise in how we walk,
humble in how we lead,
faithful in how we serve,
and steady in what we build together as the church.

Let what is inside us
remain stronger
than whatever is changing around us.
As well, as I endeavor to not forget
I pray daily, sweet sleep for her🕊️
As 👍🏾we🕊️ keep moving forward through
This year focused on you
The only one 👍🏾we🕊️ Trust✝️
