A S.O.F.T. Good Night
(Proverbs 3:24 with this prayer’s context)

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…

That tonight 👍🏾we🕊️ rest softly.

After the studying,
after the thinking,
after the careful handling of what is ✝️holy📖,
give 👍🏾us🕊️ peace
with the same softness You✝️ taught in fellowship.
This said may we rest—
Without fear,
Without strain,
With the overthinking of the brain yet,
A quiet trust.

Your Word says
when she lies down,
she shall not be afraid;
yea, 🕊️ shall lie down,
and her sleep shall be sweet.

So let it be sweet tonight.
Let her heart rest in what is true.
Let her mind rest in what is pure.
Let her spirit rest in what You are teaching.

And if a song remains with her,
let it be one that sounds like peace.
