✝️ What God✝️ has for 👍🏾us🕊️
(Romans 12 • Proverbs 3:24)

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…

👍🏾We🕊️ come before You
in remembrance of the members—

Your✝️ Word teaches us
that we are one body in Christ✝️,
and every one members of another.
So help 👍🏾us🕊️ remember
that no 🕊️ member is empty,
no 🕊️ member is random,
and no 🕊️ member is without supply.

Even in hardship.
Even in weakness.
Even in circumstances
that seem to hide what You placed within them.

Lord, remind us
that each member has a gift.
That provides a lift to us
in different forms,
with different functions,
but with the same grace among us

And what You have given
is not meant to sit still.
It is to be maximized.
It is to be strengthened.
It is to be matured
by Your perfect hand.
The potter of this clay
Yes this man👍🏾
And this woman🕊️

So perfect us, Father.
Renew our minds.
Transform our thinking.
So it’s not seen as robbery before you.
Teach us not to think too highly of ourselves,
Yet not to think so little
of what You have placed in us either.
Because this includes 👍🏾us🕊️—
though it is not about us.

It is about Your ✝️ Body.
Your ✝️ purpose.
Your ✝️ order.
Your glory moving through each life
You have joined to the church.

Help us see the quiet gift.
Help us strengthen the weary gift.
Help us call forth what is present
even when life has pressed it low.

So. If one serves,
let them serve well.
If one teaches,
let them teach faithfully.
If one exhorts,
let them encourage strongly.
If one gives,
let them give with simplicity.
If one leads,
let them lead with diligence.
If one shows mercy,
let them do it with cheerfulness.

Father, mature us as members.
Let Your✝️ perfect work
So it self essential continually
pull greatness out of what seemed small,
and strength out of what seemed stretched.

Make us living sacrifices—
holy, acceptable unto You.
Let our worship not be talk only,
but function.
Not appearance only,
but usefulness.
Not title only,
but transformation.

Teach 👍🏾us🕊️
that what You have for us
is bigger than preference,
deeper than circumstance,
and stronger than delay.
Help us understand this day I pray
where we can learn of one another
as it pertains to how we function

So tonight, keep us in remembrance
of each member’s importance,
and of the grace You have placed in all of us.

And as we lie down,
let there be no fear.
Your Word says
our sleep shall be sweet.

So give 👍🏾us🕊️ rest tonight, Father.
Sweet rest.
Peaceful rest.
Strengthening rest.

And when morning comes,
let us rise more aware
of what You have placed in us
for one another.
