✝️ Remembering our Standard✝️

A Spoken-Word Prayer
(2 Peter 1:12–13 • Titus 2:1–8 • Proverbs 3:24)

Father in Heaven,

I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…
Stir us up by way of remembrance—
As reminder of who we are,
And to ever keep Your✝️ standard in sight.

You said it is right to remind us
while we are still here—
to anchor us in truth,
to steady us,
to ready us,
And simplify what life tries to complicate.

So once again,
remind us of Your plan—
As we live clean,
to walk straight,
to love rightly
though divided by doctrine,
And to lead humbly
with a mindset that’s not robbery
But what a privilege!

As a church, as 🕊️church⛪️ we have
To remember:
we are not built on trends,
but on truth.
Not noise,
but doctrine.
Not impulse,
but obedience.
God✝️,
You’ve given us a standard
That we agree with.
I we see it daily!

For the man—
It’s sound in speech,
self-controlled,
faithful in service,
and an ultimate 🕊️example
of character and integrity
Within reach!
No doubt. I’m pressin!
Steady, not stubborn.
Strong, not harsh.
Anchored, not arrogant.
Yes! My proper attitude.

For the woman—
reverent in conduct,
wise in word,
dignified in presence,
teaching what is good,
carrying strength and grace
like Proverbs declared.

This is what it looks like
to chase divine purpose.
So, Lord, help us
see that Your standard
doesn’t complicate life—
it clarifies it.
It simplifies our choices,
our relationships,
our direction.
Our affections to the end
they are brought under authority
Of your Word✝️
This is our standard!

So Lord keep us in remembrance of Your plan—
that holiness is freedom,
that righteousness is alignment,
that leadership is service.
And a more perfect union is
Set at your timing!

So Father… tonight I pray for 🕊️
because she carries standards
I desire to live up to.
So preparation has been my prayer—
not performance,
but readiness.
Not pride,
but growth.

Guard her rest now.
Let no anxiety disturb her.
Your Word says when we lie down,
we will not be afraid,
and our sleep will be sweet.

So make it sweet, Lord.
Keep her in peace.
Keep us aligned.
Keep Your standard clear.

And simplify everything we do
according to Your will.
Until it is done!
