I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name as Your Holy Spirit dwells…

Father…
tonight we slow the moment down,
not because we are unsure,
but because we trust You enough
to stop talking.
We stand between what has been spoken
and what has not yet been answered,
choosing stillness over speculation,
silence over hurry,
and faith over noise.

Lord,
You taught us through the Psalms
that there are moments
when prayer is not more words,
but a pause—
a holy interruption
where the soul learns to listen.
So here we are,
guarding our hearts,
settling our thoughts,
bringing every emotion
back under truth.

And if You have allowed a 🕊️ to come near—
not to disrupt peace
but to reflect it—
then let gentleness lead,
let patience hold the it’s proper place,
and let understanding mature in time.
Because Your✝️ Love is patient.
Your✝️ Love is kind.
And it doesn’t rush
what You are shaping.

Lord Jesus…
You spoke to me in red🩸letters
so we would know when 🕊️heaven⛪️ was speaking.
And prompted me on how to approach the treatment of your 🕊️church.
Considering this, You✝️ said, “Follow Me,”
and You never hurried the heart that needed time.
This in You✝️ is my example!
So tonight we do what the Psalms taught us to do:

We let God respond.
We let the weight of what was said be felt.

Not analyzed.
Nor are we fantasising
Not defended.
Not rushed into resolution.
Just received.

And as we retire from this day you’ve made,
we rest under the promise You kept alive through wisdom:
When we lie down, we shall not be afraid;
our sleep shall be sweet.
Sweet because You✝️ are watching.
Sweet because You✝️ are speaking—
even when You✝️ are quiet.

And Father, as we rest tonight,
here’s the question You place gently on our minds:
why did You give us the Psalms?
Why prayers that wrestle,
songs that cry,
poetry that doubts, repents, praises, and waits?
Why theology written in emotion,
doctrine wrapped in lament and trust?
Is it because You wanted us to know
that faith isn’t the absence of feeling,
but the discipline of bringing every feeling
back under truth?

As you respond in this writing, write clearly.
Since You are correcting, correct gently.
As You are confirming, confirm with peace.
And if You are simply teaching us
to wait well,
then we choose to continue
trusting you over tension
From lies mentioned.

Cover Your✝️ 🕊️ You have placed in my awareness.
Let her rest without fear,
think without pressure,
and sleep knowing
that unanswered questions
are still held by You.
Provided as your good pleasure
Among 👍🏾us🕊️

Tonight we do not rush past You.
We pause.
We breathe.
We listen,
As I pray for 🕊️her continued smile.
