🌙✨ “Bringing the Calm”
(Luke 8:22–25 ✝️ | Psalm 46:10 ✝️ | Proverbs 3:24 ✝️)
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name,
lifting 🕊️ before You tonight
asking that You bring the calm
she needs in this day
This week,
As you speak,
Just as Your ✝️ Son stepped into the boat
and said, “Let us go over unto the other side,”
remind her that she is crossing with You✝️
not alone👍🏾,
not unprotected👍🏾,
not uncertain👍🏾
but guided by Your✝️ purpose
and held by Your✝️ presence.
When storms rise in her thoughts,
when waves shake what feels steady,
when worries rush faster than she can breathe—
Lord✝️, speak the same word over her
that You spoke to the sea:
“Peace!”
Let every anxious wave settle.
Let every restless thought bow to You✝️
Who under the sound of Your authority
quiets our fears
As it loosens its grip.
And as You declared in Psalm 46:10:
“Be still, and know that I am God.”
Teach 🕊️ to be still tonight,
not fearful,
but assured.
Assured that You are God✝️ over her storm,
God✝️ in her boat,
God✝️ by her side,
Help her lean and confide in The One ✝️ who never leaves and never loses.
As she considers Calvary,
Let her faith rise again
as You ask gently,
“Where is your faith?”
And let her heart answer,
“In You alone, Lord.”
So Father, calm 🕊️ night.
Steady what shakes.
Quiet what stirs.
Cover what feels exposed
with the peace that holds her
when everything else feels loud.
And as she lies down,
fulfill Your promise from Proverbs 3:24:
When she lies down, she shall not be afraid;
and her sleep shall be sweet.
Good night, Lord✝️.
Good night, Jesus✝️.
Good night, Holy Spirit🕊️.
And good night to her🕊️—
held in peace,
kept by grace,
guided through every storm,
and carried safely
to the other side
by the God✝️ who calls her His.
In Jesus Christ✝️ name,
Amen.
