🙏🏾 “Prayer for My Work”
(Nehemiah 4:6–9 ✝️)
Father in Heaven,
I pray in Jesus Christ✝️ name
that as Your 🕊️Holy Spirit dwells in this day,
May there be a thorough understand of my work
Going forward
the work You assigned,
the work I’ve lived through,
the work I’m still building.
Just like Nehemiah,
You let me see the condition of the walls
in ministry,
in my finances,
in my stay here in Virginia,
the projects I led and will lead✝️,
and in the lives connected to mine
Either directly, indirectly, or potentially
Lord✝️, what I’ve seen
has shaped what I must do.
So, based on this prayer help answer 👍🏾our🕊️ questions on
Leadership✝️ and
structure’s importance taught to me
Through it,
God✝️ you have kept✝️ me here
To learn discipline in self, others, and for organizations
Financial rebuilding is teaching me stewardship.
And this season in Virginia is teaching me
how to stand, plan, and pray at the same time
While making it rhyme! 😎
Not taken lightly
Yet in this vessel may a light be
Lived, Seen, and proclaimed.
Just as those called by your name, Like Nehemiah saying,
“The people had a mind to work.”
So Lord this is 🧠mine💭!
Help me to use it to your glory
That mind, that’s
• steady,
• focused,
• prepared,
• and not easily moved.
But Founded✝️ upon a Rock✝️
Strengthen my hands
like You strengthened theirs:
one hand on the work✝️,
one hand on the weapon✝️ —
planning with wisdom,
watching with discernment.
Help me develop leadership that carries
Deborah’s confidence,
Barak’s obedience,
and trust in the Rock✝️’s stability
Through every battle or difficulty we may face
And Father, let everything I’m building —
my purpose,
my next steps,
my future,
my calling —
line up with Your doctrine
Your✝️ Will,
and the truth I’ve been taught.
Help me stay
steadfast, unmovable,
always abounding —
whether in ministry work,
financial work,
mental work,
or spiritual work.
Because Lord, at the end of the day:
You chose me to be a soldier,
Called to endure hardness
and equipped me to do it.
And if You asked again,
even knowing what this journey required—
I would still choose this work.
I would still choose Your will.
I would still choose You✝️.
Bless my work, Lord —
the kind I build with my hands,
the kind You shape in my heart,
and the kind that continues to prepare
the next generation.
In Jesus Christ✝️ name,
I pray and give thanks.
Amen.
