Prayer warriors I need help praying for my husband pray God will do what he said he do and have his way , Lord you know who this is
Heavenly Father,
I come before You in the name of Jesus, honoring Your holy name. Your Word says in Exodus 20:7 that we must not take Your name in vain, and in Leviticus 19:12 You warn against swearing falsely by Your name and profaning it. Your Word also says in Ecclesiastes 5:2 that we must not be rash with our mouths before You. Lord, Your name is holy, righteous, and worthy of reverence.
Father, I lift up my husband to You. I ask that Your Holy Spirit move upon his heart with true conviction. Let him see clearly where he has spoken wrongly, used Your name carelessly, or dishonored what is holy. Open his eyes to the seriousness of this sin, not to destroy him, but to bring him to repentance and truth.
Lord, do not let him stay comfortable in wrong. Trouble his conscience until he turns back to You. Remove pride, stubbornness, and hardness of heart. Let there be no peace in disobedience, but let there be deep conviction that leads him to repentance. Your Word says in 2 Corinthians 7:10 that godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation. Let that godly sorrow work in him by Your Spirit.
Father, I ask for Your power to step into this situation now. Bring holy fear, humility, and a sincere turning of the heart. Teach him to honor Your name, to speak with reverence, and to walk carefully before You. Let his mouth be cleansed, his heart be corrected, and his spirit be brought low before You.
And Lord, where there is sin, let there also be mercy. Your Word says in 1 John 1:9 that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. I pray that he will confess, repent, and receive Your forgiveness.
Lord God, act in Your power and in Your holiness. Let this be taken seriously. Let Your Spirit deal with him rightly, deeply, and completely. Bring repentance, change, and reverence for Your holy name.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
