God has answered our prayer.
My landlord was trying to do a retaliatory eviction on my family and I after 7.5 years of living here and paying the rent like clockwork. We found mold all over the closet and he said it was our fault and gave us 30 days to vacate after 7 YEARS.
I called up MD Legal Aid and they said by law, unless we didn’t pay rent, he has to give us 60 days, even if it’s a month to month. I also called the permit office and found out that he didn’t even have a license to rent the place… To make a long story short, 30 days turned into 4 months and now we don’t have to move out until the end of August.
