After more than nine years of bringing worship services to senior living communities, a friend approached my wife and I suggesting we form a 501(c)(3). So, this year we did just that and this fall we launched StandUp Ministries. We also launched an outreach to local churches all around the DMV. Our mission is to mobilize the local church to send mission teams to senior living communities. These teams bring weekly worship services, Bible studies, and fellowship events to disciple the residents, family members, and the staff working at the community.

We need prayer and we need prayer warriors. Please pray for the following:
1. That God opens the doors to local churches giving us the opportunity to meet with church leaders,
2. That God moves the hearts of church leaders to form, train, and send mission teams (We do all of that at no expense to the church),
3. That God moves on the heart of Jesus’s followers to help support our ministry financially.
4. That many more find salvation, at the prompting of the Holy Spirit, through our ministry.
5. That we find volunteer missionaries to form the mission teams, sing in our Christmas Choir, and spread the love of Jesus Christ to those we serve.
6. That our brothers and sisters in Christ sign up to join our prayer team to shower the ministry in constant prayer.
