Please pray for my daughter and son-in-law, and the health outcome of my daughter and their baby girl. Daughter is 38 weeks pregnant and was recently told their baby is possibly late-onset growth restricted. Doctors want to induce. My daughter and son-in-law do not want to induce, for a multitude of reasons, including the fact that all diagnostic testing shows both mama and baby are fine, and induction can increase the risk of a C-section. Baby girl is just very small. Doctor recommendation is very weak, with low quality evidence, and other alternatives may be equally reasonable. There is uncertainty in the estimates of benefits, risks, and burdens, with benefits closely balanced with risks and burdens. They have more doctor appointments tomorrow, but they are going to have to make a decision on how to move forward. Please pray that God help and guide them with their decisions, to do what’s best for baby, and that it be His will that baby is born healthy and thriving.
