Having a really hard time with celebrating Halloween this year. As kids my family never did, but now having kids of my own for 4 years we always have done cute costumes and just walked my in laws neighborhood . This year I felt convicted in participating. The origin of the holiday comes from pagans and believing in witchcraft and a day for evil spirit to come trick and put fear in people. I know now it’s very commercialized and innocent looking today but I can’t get past the deeper meaning . I have read many verses saying be the light of the world and do not be apart of evil of the world. My husband doesn’t see the deeper meaning he just sees it as a family fun day. I don’t know what to do or think?:(
