For National Prayer Day, I pray our Nation turns to God:
– Pray for the Immigrants, fleeing horrors probably created by the US, for protection in the US, only to be denied due process
– Pray for families who are being ripped apart
– Pray for children – immigrant, citizen, or whatever – who seek medical care in this country which God has blessed us with knowledge, technology, and funding.
– Pray for federal employees who have lost their jobs
– Pray for the environment that it survives the greed and ego of the GOP
– Pray for the economy that we find a balance of providing needs for all rather than the wants of a very few
– Pray for a distribution of wealth; that all contribute equitably to taxes but also helping themselves.
– Pray for Peace in Ukraine, Gaza, and other areas of conflict
– Pray that families are healed and no one feels alone.
– Pray that we are actually encouraging in actions, not just words in a tag line.
– Pray that those in power stop using their mouths to hurt others that are not like themselves in race, gender, faith, citizenship, or finances.
