Prayer Request

Dear Church Family,

I am reaching out to ask for your prayers during this difficult time.

I am 28 years old and have been unemployed for the past two years. During this time, I have applied for over 1,000 jobs, keeping track of every single one, yet I have not had any success. I am living with my parents and have run out of money. At this point, I feel lost about which career path to pursue or what roles to even apply for anymore. I have fasted and prayed about this, but God has been silent. I feel like I have been forsaken and lost. This situation has been deeply affecting me mentally, and I truly need God’s guidance, strength, and an open door to meaningful employment.

I also ask for prayers for my girlfriend, Elizabeth, who was baptized seven months ago. She loves God, enjoys reading the Bible, and is committed to her faith, but she is struggling as she has yet to find a community of SDA friends her age. She is 28, and in our church, we are the youngest members, with most others being 50 or older. Because of this, she sometimes feels out of place, judged, or belittled as she continues learning and growing in her faith. At times, she stays home to rest rather than attend church due to these feelings.

Please pray that God will lead her to the right people who will be there for her, encourage her, and help her grow in faith. She is new to the faith and still learning, so I ask for prayers that God will comfort her, help her feel His presence, and strengthen her to depend on Him fully. Please also pray that she will not feel discouraged by her non-SDA friends but will continue to stand firm in her journey with Christ.

We would greatly appreciate your prayers for God’s guidance, provision, and peace during this season.

Thank you, and may God bless you all.
