Prayer Request

Hi. My name is Jill Murtagh. I was a Substitute Teacher for nine years. In January, while subbing as a PreK Aide, I tripped on a student’s pillow and fell hard to the floor. I suffered a fractured elbow, which has since healed, and a concussion, among other things. I have now been diagnosed with post concussion syndrome. The functional losses, to me, are tremendous. I am on the road to recovery, but it will be a long journey. I have yet yo schedule for neuropsychological testing and I start physical therapy tomorrow for gait balance. I was shocked at the level of memory loss incurred from this, which became apparent to me when I had difficulty remembering simple word and number sequences my doctor asked me to repeat. I would love to hear from others who went through (or are currently going through) the throes of a concussion. God will see me through this, I know. In all of these changes, our God remains the same, and in this, I take great comfort; this reminds me of the song “Our God is still the Same.” Thank you for your prayers and encouragement. May God bless us all, in every challenge we face.
With much love in Him, ❤️+
