I’m asking for your prayers that my son gets good news this week. He’s a junior in high school and a pitcher for his school’s baseball team but for the past several months he has been having some shoulder issues. He did PT all over the winter and just started a throwing program that was going great. Then recently it started hurting again so we have an MRI Monday afternoon to see what’s going on. I pray that it’s either clean and it’s just muscle pain from getting back to throwing again or if there is something that it’s easily treatable without surgery.

I know that this isn’t life threatening and there are kids that are far worse off then him, and if God has to prioritize then I do hope he cures kids with serious diseases. But pitching is my son’s life and he’s hoping to continue to pitch in college, so this upcoming season would be a big one for him to impress college coaches and try to earn a spot somewhere. If the Lord’s plan is to have him waylaid for a bit, so be it and we’ll make it through with his (and your!) help, but I ask to pray that he’s back on the mound doing what he loves very soon.
