I’m going on a date with this girl from church on Friday. I know she likes me and the entire congregation has been pressing me to talk to her more (because I’ve been shy). I finally asked her on a date and she said yes.

I just pray that God blesses our time on Friday and allows us to have fun and have great conversation while we get to learn about each other more. I also pray that if this is Gods will that he leaves a deep impression on my heart after our time together on Friday if this is who he has for me.

I want what God has more me but I’ve been obsessed with the ideal of remaining single forever.
