I’m a divorced and retired mother with 3 adult daughters. I put them through college and they have been working since they graduated from college. Three years ago, my youngest daughter had been diagnosed with Autism and OCD. She tried working many times, but had been terminated by employers because of her tremors. We lived together in a rental home in Arlington, VA. Recently 2 of my older daughters have lost their jobs. Their income was our main source of income. I receive Social Security and had a part-time job.
I’m writing in for prayer, because this morning the part-time I had working in DC, just told me that I have been furloughed. I had this job for one and a half years and it really helped us all. I don’t know if you understand what we are going through. Our rent was already late in March and my part-time income along with the Social Security Benefits was what was helping us get through March’s expenses. We are already behind in our April’s rent and on top of that the landlord informed us that she wants us to move by June, because she sold the home,
I know that God doesn’t give us more than we can handle, and I’m trusting God for His provision. I’m not sure if other people out there are experiencing the same thing, but In the Name of Jesus, I pray for Mercy, Provision and Restoration. We are in desperate need of help. I was staying strong for these girls, because the were hurt, broken and disappointed when they lost their jobs, but now I don’t have the means to help support them and I’m trying to stay strong for all of us, because we do know that God does show up and will come through. We have also reached out to some churches, but haven’t heard back yet. Can you please pray for us and let us know if you can help or advise of any other additional support we can reach out to. Thank you and may God Bless You!
