My name is Donita, and I am a mother first before anything else. I found my purpose the moment I became a mom. My world revolves around my children, and I’ve always promised them love, safety, and stability.

But now, I’m facing the hardest chapter of our lives, and I can’t do it alone.

This fundraiser began with a heartbreaking plea from my two youngest daughters. They looked at me with tearful eyes and begged me not to make them go back to their other parent’s home. A place where they’ve witnessed domestic violence and suffered emotional and mental abuse. Their voices were small but powerful. They didn’t ask for toys or treats. They asked me to protect them.

And I will. I must. But I need your help.

The only path to protecting them legally is through the court system and that requires an attorney. I work hard, I love harder, but I don’t have the financial means to afford the legal representation needed to keep my daughters safe.
