Please pray God gives me discernment to see when other people are lying to me. I live in a very difficult neighborhood with rival gangs that both bully me. They love to tell me I'm worthless while bullying me (threatened to shoot me on more than one occasion. Pretty sure I didn't imagine it on a train in front of people) and blaming me for their own actions. I live in the neighborhood with the most shootings of any in my city's metro area. I take their verbal attacks personally as I was a child of abuse and this is also what my abusers did to me. It's taken me years to see that I wasn't at fault for them beating me and kicking me down flights of stairs. Please pray God keep me from believing the lies. I can't face this much longer.
