I am a volunteer at a dog, cat, and donkey rescue in Virginia. This severe cold weather and the snow and ice has caused a lot of stress to the animals and is hard on the caretakers both regular and volunteers. the cold is difficult and some of it is outdoors for the donkeys, etc. On top of that, there was an intruder a few days ago that stole equipment which will have to be replaced. My prayer request is for God's protection from any more intruders, For God to put a hedge of protection around this and other rescues for the safety of the animals (God's animals really) and the people. I am also ask for prayers for warmer weather soon. This is unusual for Virginia for this long and so hard on everyone.
