I am in need of some prayer support. I am a single parent of an amazing 6 year old boy. He is my whole world. His mother’s current belief status is unknown. Due to this, she has often not responded well to my efforts to cultivate a healthy Godly spirit in my son through church and other means. This includes a great kids program through the church called Awana. By God’s grace, my son has been able to attend regularly in years past with me as his leader. This year, however, his mother has made it clear that she doesn’t want him in Awana and instead wants that time with him for other things. The ability for him to learn and grow his faith in church is something I very much look forward to, and this brings me great sadness to have his mom against me in this effort. Therefore, I am asking for you and anyone else you might want to share this with to please pray for all three of us: for me, to have grace, diligence, and continued strength to continue to pursue holiness in all ways in this situation; for my son, to continue to desire to see God’s love for him in his life; and finally, for his mom, to reject this world and come back to the Lord. 🙏🏻
