My mom has been having breathing issues. She is currently admitted to the hospital for it. She has CHF, Afib, and ESRD. She goes to dialysis 3 times a week. She has had a leaky valve for the past 20 years or so. Has never had any issues. Now the leaky valve has gotten worse and causing issues. The MD’s think this is the reason for her breathing problem. A specialist will see her tomorrow after reviewing the tests. Either they will be able to do a minimally invasive procedure to do the valve repair or they may have to do open heart surgery to repair it. She may also need bypass surgery. She had a stent placed last month for a 90 % blockage. My mom is very nervous. I pray for her faith to remain strong , for her safety, for the doctors and surgeons to make the right decisions for her case.
