I have been seeing this guy for the past 4 months and I invited him to my brother’s wedding which is next week Thursday, he was excited to go but we had a talk yesterday and he thinks it is best if we go our separate ways because he was thinking about the future. How I will probably be unhappy moving around a lot since he is in the military. I told him the future is out of his hands and only God knows what will happen. Our relationship so far was great, and this came out of the blue and I think that because our relationship is centered with God that the devil is out to steal our happiness, joy, and peace. When we first met, he told me he was looking for a long-term relationship and I agreed with him. I was praying asking the Lord to show me if he is for me to show me an orange butterfly (since I’ve never seen one before) and 3 months later I saw it. So that was my sign from the Lord he is for me, but the devil is working very hard to take him away and make him feel like he isn’t good enough. He said he thinks it might be best if he does not come to the wedding. I texted him early this morning asking him if he wouldn’t mind still being my date since my brother already saved him his seat. I am waiting on a reply so my prayer to God is if he says “yes” he will come then there will still be hope in us working things out and if he says “no” then I know we need to part ways. Amen
