Prayers please I have a major surgery this Thursday and husband, a checkup for his eye recovery (from 2 surgeries) tomorrow. Prayers 1- that God will calm husbands spirit. Mostly he is TERRIFIED he will have to have a third surgery (the second resulted in a heart scare, a heart scare that landed him in the hospital- a total nightmare experience) – because he now has an infection in that same eye. 2 – that he doesn't have to have a third surgery BIG one there; and 3- that maybe, just maybe the doctor will recommend a break in eye drops, an at least a 'try this' before recommending any further treatment A 'say lets give this a month 1 drop a day or 2x or better no drops at all period (versus 3 or 4x a day). (The length of time and amount of eye drops he has been given, over a several month period is quite extensive along with the extra around the clock care): while may or may not be adding to the new irritation, maybe God can give a breather on that part of things right now for a variety of reasons: less stress on the eye (maybe overmedicating at this point), less stress on my husband and his fears of it all, and perhaps a much needed break from his buddies – and their extea comings and goings while I been at work to help with putting on eye drops – going on over 2 months. I can't make that call or even suggestion. But perhaps the Lord can through my husband's doctor!!
