🌾 A Prayer of Release, Restoration, and Rebuilding
Entwined from the Threads of Pain, Forgiveness, and Faith
> O LORD, our Comfort and Redeemer,
> I come not with complaint, but confession.
> The years have been heavy with judgment,
> silent wounds, misunderstood offerings,
> and sorrow carried for my children—
> for my daughter, bruised by silence,
> for my son, burdened by unspoken trials,
> and for my marriage, spoken against by those who do not know its covenant.
>
> But Thou knowest.
> Thou hast seen me stand in school meetings without understanding,
> watching others receive what we were denied.
> Thou didst number every tear shed over missed photos, forgotten help,
> and gifts called bribes when I meant only to bless.
>
> “Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?” — Psalm 56:8
>
> I release it now, LORD.
> Not in bitterness—but in forgiveness.
> I forgive those who misjudged,
> who took without asking,
> who spoke divorce over my marriage,
> who honored others but failed to see our need.
>
> “But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.” — Mark 11:26
>
> Strengthen my daughter’s heart.
> Heal the places she still hides.
> Raise my son into the calling only Thou can reveal.
> And mend the name I carry—
> for I have tried, even when it was unseen.
>
> “The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.” — Psalm 145:14
>
> I thank Thee, O God, that grace does not wait on approval,
> that mercy is never tied to paperwork,
> and that Thy Son—Jesus Christ—is enough.
>
> May every scar now become a testimony.
> May every memory misunderstood be restored in truth.
> May this ministry rise not from perfection,
> but from resilience.
>
> Bind my story with scarlet,
> and let it speak of Thee—not of man.
> And let my heart—finally, freely—forgive…
> even for holding on so long.
>
> “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” — Psalm 147:3
> “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.” — Psalm 51:10
>
> I give it all to Thee, Lord.
> In the name of Jesus Christ,
> through whom all peace flows,
> Amen and Amen.
