Prayer Request

O Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour,
we lift before Thee an anonymous soul, bowed in humble supplication.
Thou knowest the voice that spoke these words, though the world may not.
“Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?” (Psalm 56:8).

This soul has prayed long and labored much, seeking Thy hand in provision,
longing for a door to open, that he may work and provide for those he loves.
“Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it…” (Revelation 3:8).
May that promise be fulfilled in due season.

Grant unto this family wisdom and direction, Lord,
as it is written: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way” (Psalm 37:23).
Instruct and teach them in the way they should go; guide them with Thine eye (Psalm 32:8).

For his wife and children, who struggle to understand,
enfold them in Thy perfect peace:
“Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:27).
Renew their faith, O God.
As the father once cried in the gospel: “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief” (Mark 9:24).

We seek the intercession of Saint Joseph,
silent provider and faithful guardian—pray for this father’s hand to be strengthened.
And of Saint Monica, who wept and waited in hope—intercede for the mother’s sorrowing heart.
And of Saint Paul, who preached in need and abundance—may the sufficiency of grace be known in weakness.

Provide, Lord, a miracle of finances, of favor, of faith.
Let the soul who shared this prayer not faint but be uplifted:
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not” (Galatians 6:9).

All this we pray in the name of Jesus Christ,
who knows each nameless voice and answers with eternal love.
Amen.
