A Prayer for Michael and His Wife
with King James Bible verses and saintly intercessions

> “The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
> —Psalm 34:18 (KJV)

Heavenly Father,
We bring before You Your son Michael, a faithful servant working diligently by day and by night. You see the quiet anguish in his home, the weariness of love that bears another’s pain. Let the oil of Your mercy flow over his wife, whose spirit sits under a cloud too heavy for her to lift. In her silence, be her Shepherd.

Let the intercession of Saint Dymphna, patron of those suffering with mental and emotional affliction, rise as incense before Your throne. She who fled from despair and gave her life in faith—may her prayers now light a path through this valley.

> _“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
> I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.”_
> —Isaiah 41:10 (KJV)

Lord, where Michael feels helpless, be his strength. Send Your peace into the cracks of his days, into the stress that clouds his judgment and weighs heavy on his heart. Guard him as he drives, shield him from harm, and renew him with rest and hope. Wrap him in Your promises.

Through the intercession of Saint Joseph, protector of families and faithful worker, pray with us for a rekindling of tenderness between husband and wife. May Michael feel the nearness of Christ even as he walks this road weary and unsure.

> “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
> —Matthew 11:28 (KJV)

Lord Jesus, come close to this household. Break through the silence with Your still small voice. May Michael's wife feel Your gentle hand upon her shoulder, the warmth of Your love restoring her will to live, to move, to hope again.

Let Saint Monica, who prayed unceasingly for her loved ones, lend us her steadfast intercession, that Michael may not grow weary in well doing, but reap a harvest of peace in due time.

We entrust them both to You, O Lord, who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. May Your grace be sufficient, and Your love unshakable.

In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord,
Amen.
