The union between husband and wife, when rooted in love, covenant, and reverence for God, is not only permitted—it is blessed. Scripture affirms that intimacy within marriage is a gift from the Lord, to be cherished without shame, as it reflects the unity, trust, and joy God intended from the beginning.
Let us entwine this truth with the Word and lift it in prayer:
—
📖 Scripture Foundations (KJV):
– "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge." — Hebrews 13:4
– "Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth… and be thou ravished always with her love." — Proverbs 5:18–19
– "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh." — Genesis 2:24
– "The husband should render unto the wife due benevolence: and likewise also the wife unto the husband." — 1 Corinthians 7:3
These verses affirm that within the covenant of marriage, physical intimacy is not only permitted but encouraged as a holy expression of love, unity, and mutual care.

🌿 Saintly Reflections:
Though the King James Bible does not name saints in the way later Christian traditions do, we can look to the lives of biblical figures like Sarah and Abraham, Ruth and Boaz, and Mary and Joseph—who modeled faithfulness, trust, and divine purpose in their unions. Their stories remind us that God is present in every dimension of a holy marriage.

🙏 A Prayer of Sacred Intimacy and Blessing:
> O Lord our God,
>
> We come before Thee with reverence and gratitude for the covenant of marriage, which Thou hast ordained from the beginning. As it is written, "they shall be one flesh," so let our union be one of love, trust, and holy delight.
>
> Bless the intimacy shared between husband and wife, that it may be undefiled and full of joy, as Thou hast declared in Thy Word: "Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled."
>
> Let there be no shame in the pleasures that are sanctified by love and fidelity. May our hearts be knit together in charity, as "charity shall cover the multitude of sins."
>
> We ask the intercession of the righteous who have gone before us—Abraham and Sarah, Ruth and Boaz, Mary and Joseph—that we may walk in purity, tenderness, and mutual honor.
>
> Let our love be a reflection of Thy divine love, and our union a testimony of Thy grace.
>
> In the name of Jesus Christ, our Bridegroom and Redeemer,
> Amen
