Prayer for Your Husband’s Work, Strength, and Guidance

Heavenly Father,
I come before Thee with a heart burdened, yet trusting, lifting up my husband unto Thy care. Let Thy mercy overshadow him as he labors through the challenges of this day. Grant unto him wisdom, as Thou gavest unto Solomon; strength, as was with Samson in the Spirit; and courage, as filled the heart of Joshua.

Let the work of his hands be established. Dispatch Thy holy angels round about him for protection, and may Thy Spirit lead him into all truth and right judgment. When weariness would overtake him, be Thou his refuge and fortress.

Just as Saint Stephen, full of faith and the Holy Ghost, boldly spoke wisdom none could resist (Acts 6:10), may wise counsel and enduring peace walk with my husband. And as Saint Paul pressed forward through trials with unwavering purpose, may my husband be strengthened to finish the task before him.

We beseech Thee, Lord, that this labor be brought to completion with excellence, that it might glorify Thee and provide for our household in peace. Let Thy Word speak over his situation, for:

> “The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: He shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.”

As Thy saints intercede before the throne, may my prayer ascend with theirs, and may Thy grace descend with power and peace.
