Gracious and Wise Father,

We lift our hearts to You, desiring to love like Jesus—with depth, humility, and truth. Your Word says, “Let all your things be done with charity” (1 Corinthians 16:14), and we commit to walk in that love toward all.

Yet we also remember, Lord, that You are a God of order and not confusion. “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). Help us to guard our hearts with grace—setting healthy boundaries that honor Your Spirit within us.

When others press us to tolerate harm in the name of love, remind us of Nehemiah’s courage, who said, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down” (Nehemiah 6:3). Strengthen us to say no when needed, without guilt or fear.

Give us discernment like Jesus, who “did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men” (John 2:24). Let us not be taken advantage of, but walk in truth and integrity, loving wisely and boldly.

May we always seek peace, but not at the cost of righteousness. Teach us to speak the truth “in love” (Ephesians 4:15), to stand firm in boundaries that reflect our identity as children of God, and to extend mercy without enabling harm.

We thank You for Your guidance. Lead us as ambassadors of the Gospel—compassionate and courageous, humble and discerning. In all things, let Christ be seen.
