Prayer for the President of the United States
(Prayer Path Method — King James entwined)

Acknowledge
Father, we come before Thee with reverence, knowing that “the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will” (Daniel 4:17). Thou art the God who sets up leaders and brings them low, the God who sees the hearts of kings as rivers of water in Thy hand.

Align
We align our hearts with Thy Word and with the prayers of the saints who continually cry before Thy throne, “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). We align with righteousness, truth, mercy, and justice—those pillars by which nations stand, for “righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34).

Ask
Lord, we lift up the President of the United States.
Grant him wisdom from above, for “if any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God… and it shall be given him” (James 1:5).
Strengthen him with courage to do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before Thee.
Surround him with counselors who fear Thee, who speak truth without flattery, and who discern the times like the children of Issachar.
Shield him from confusion, deception, and every snare of the enemy.
Let Thy peace rule his decisions, Thy fear steady his steps, and Thy truth guard his tongue.
Let the saints’ intercession rise like incense, covering him, his family, and all who serve in authority.

Anchor
We anchor this prayer in Thy unchanging Word:
“The LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; He will save us” (Isaiah 33:22).
And we trust that “no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17).
We anchor our hope not in man, but in Thee, the God who keeps covenant and mercy to a thousand generations.
