PRAYER PATH: Boundaries Are Obedience, Not Grudges
Acknowledge
Father, I come before You recognizing that You are the God who sees, who knows, and who teaches me how to guard the life You entrusted to me. You are righteous in all Your ways, and Your wisdom is perfect.
Align
Your Word says, “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” (Proverbs 4:23, KJV)
You command me to walk in love, but also in truth. You teach me that “love thy neighbour as thyself” (Mark 12:31, KJV) includes honoring the “thyself” You created. You remind me that stepping away from harm is not bitterness but obedience, for “have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness.” (Ephesians 5:11, KJV)
Ask
Lord, strengthen me to hold the boundaries You have given me without guilt, fear, or apology. Give me discernment to know when to step back, courage to speak truth in love, and peace when others misunderstand my obedience. Remove every false label of “grudge” that others try to place on me, and replace it with Your truth: that I am walking in stewardship, not strife. Teach me to forgive without returning to bondage, and to love without abandoning the care of my own soul.
Anchor (Scripture)
“If they receive you not… depart.” (Matthew 10:14, KJV)
“Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free.” (Galatians 5:1, KJV)
“The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in.” (Psalm 121:8, KJV)
Amen
In Jesus’ name, Amen
