Acknowledge
There is so much pain in the world right now, and it weighs on all of us. Innocent people are suffering, grieving, and displaced. Their lives matter deeply to God. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

Align
God calls us to compassion, but He also calls us to truth. Turning the other cheek teaches us humility, yet Scripture also says, “Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked” (Psalm 82:4). We can hold space for sorrow while still praying for justice and protection.

Ask
Lord, comfort every innocent heart caught in the middle of conflict. Surround them with Your mercy and shield them with Your strength. Guide leaders toward wisdom, soften hardened hearts, and bring peace where there is fear. Let Your justice roll like waters and Your compassion like a river.
