Prayer Path: Honoring God’s Word (KJV)

Acknowledge
Father, we come before Thee with reverence and gratitude, thanking Thee for Thy Word that stands forever. Thou art holy, righteous, and full of mercy. Thy commandments are pure, enlightening the eyes, and Thy truth is our shield and buckler. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” (Proverbs 9:10)

Align
Lord, align our hearts with Thy order and Thy wisdom. Thy Word declares, “The head of every man is Christ” and “the head of the woman is the man” (1 Corinthians 11:3). Teach us to walk in the beauty of Thy design, honoring Thee in our bodies and in our spirits, which are Thine. Let our worship reflect the reverence due unto Thy name, for “God is not the author of confusion, but of peace.” (1 Corinthians 14:33).
Let the women among us walk in the dignity of Proverbs, where “she openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness” (Proverbs 31:26). Let their voices be guided by Thy Spirit, their words seasoned with grace, and their strength clothed in honor.

Ask
Strengthen us, O Lord, to honor Thee in prayer, in conduct, and in daily life. Give the men courage to stand uncovered before Thee, showing reverence to Christ their Head. Give the women grace to walk in quiet strength, honoring the order Thou hast established, yet speaking with the bold, gentle wisdom Thy Word celebrates.
Let our obedience be without striving, without pride, and without fear—only a reflection of love for Thee. Teach us to keep our hearts pure, our motives clean, and our worship sincere. Let everything we do be done unto Thee and not unto men.
