A Prayer for Justice and Protection

O Lord, Thou seest the deceit that hath been wrought against me. Though they promise a refund, they lay upon me the heavy burden of charges that are greater than the price itself. Their words are smooth, yet their deeds are false.

I ask Thee, Almighty God, that even if I receive no recompense, Thou wouldst cause this mischief to cease. Let the snare they have set be broken, and let others be delivered from the same deceit.

“The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.” —Psalm 103:6
“For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.” —Luke 12:2

Strengthen me to stand in truth, and let Thy justice prevail. May Thy light expose the works of darkness, and may Thy hand protect the innocent from harm.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
