My mom and step-dad are not Christians. Recently, my mom said, “I don’t know much about the Bible. I feel like people misquote it a lot though.” A John Maxwell Bible was given to me and I got it signed by John Maxwell for her. Please join me in praying she feels safe opening and reading it, and that it would reach her soul. I’m going to put sticky notes on specific verses for her. Any suggested verses are welcome. Also, please pray that seeing her reading it moves her husband as well. He is currently against it, because he feels “all religions are the same. People just want to believe in something to feel better about how much the world sucks.” Please pray with me that God will water and grow the seeds being planted.
